CAIRO, May 9 (MENA) - Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli inspected Saturday a number of development and service projects in the governorate of Qalyubia.

The premier followed up the anti-coronavirus precautionary and preventive measures adopted in various fields, especially at the work and production sites.

He checked on the renovation work at Kafr Shokr Central Hospital out of which 98 perecnt have been finalized at a cost of EGP 212.8 million.

The hospital is set to be finalized in June and the operation will start in July.

Madbouli was briefed on the departments and medical services offered by the hospital that includes 106 bed and 28 incubators.

Erected on an area of 24,000 square meters, the hospital provides medicals services to 200,000 people.

The premier hailed the progress of the restoration activities as well as the abidance of all workers at the renovation site by the anti-COVID 19 precautionary measures.

Madbouli was accompanied during the tour by the minister of water resources and irrigation, local development, housing, transport and Qalyubia Governor.
