BEIJING- 4 May 2020: An EgyptAir plane carrying the second shipment of medical supplies left Guangzhou airport on Monday heading for Egypt.

The 25-ton shipment falls within the framework of the state’s plan to confront the coronavirus.

The medical supplies were purchased and transported at the expense of Hassan Allam Holding and El Sewedy Electric Group.

The medical supplies will be provided to the Egyptian Authority for Unified Drug Procurement, Medical Supply, and Medical Technology Management - which, according to law, is in charge of developing the national health mechanism and purchasing medical supplies.
