CAIRO, April 22 (MENA) – The Defense and National Committee of the House of Representatives under major general Kamal Amer approved on Wednesday a draft law on amending some articles of law 91 of 1971 on the establishment of Police Academy.

Amer told reporters that the new draft law stipulates that the academy applicants must not hold a dual nationality and their parents must not hold another nationality in order to achieve the full affiliation to the homeland.

He also said that bill stipulates the applicants or their relatives of fourth degree must not be put on terror lists or designated as terror entities as a condition for the enrollment as part of national security considerations.
