CAIRO - 20 April 2020: An Italian citizen left a quarantine hospital in Ismailia, after complete recovery from the new coronavirus, as his test turned from positive to negative.

He said that when he got infected with the coronavirus, he wanted to goback to Italy to receive treatment, and he thought that his presence in Egypt would end his life, but he was surprised by ahigh-standard medical care.

He added that Egypt is better than most European countries regarding treating the coronaviruspatients, noting that hospitals in Egypt provide excellent treatment services.

The Egyptian government did not deport infected foreigners present in Egypt, and stressed that they should receive treatment.

It should be noted that the Ministry of Health announced on April 19 recording 112 new coronavirus cases and 15 deaths. The new cases raise Egypt’s total number of COVID-19 cases to 3144 and deaths to 239.

The number of coronavirus cases whose tests turned from positive to negative increased to 1001, including 732 people who recovered from the virus. "All positive cases are placed at isolation hospitals," spokesman of the Ministry of Health said.

He added that 31 of those infected with coronavirus were discharged from hospitals after receiving the necessary medical care. The total number of recoveries has so far reached 732.
