FILE – Egyptian Armed Forces carrying out sterilization works
CAIRO – 19 April 2020: The Egyptian Armed Forces sterilized main venues in four Upper Egyptian governorates as well as Cairo and Hurghada city within a series of protective measures against COVID-19 spread.
The Egyptian Armed Forces carried out preventive sterilization in Marg and Madinet Al Salam bus stations as well as 23rd of July Railway Station, New Marg Metro Station, main streets, and buildings of public facilities in Marg neighborhood northeastern Cairo.
In Upper Egypt, sanitization works took place in the building of Asyut municipal authority, the railway station, Asyut University, bank branches, and a number of main streets and squares.
Sterilization works also included Sohag, Qena, and Aswan as the railway stations, and main streets and squares were sanitized in addition to the building of Sohag's municipal authority and Aswan University.
In neighboring governorate of the Red Sea, the main streets and squares of Hurghada city were sanitized by the Egyptian Armed Forces.
