TE provides isolation hospitals nationwide with free landline internet

CAIRO, April 16 (MENA) - Telecom Egypt said all isolation hospitals nationwide will be provided with free landline internet within the framework of measures aimed at supporting the fight against the coronavirus outbreak.

The move comes in coordination with the Health Ministry.

In a statement on Thursday, Telecom Egypt CEO Adel Hamed said the company is exerting strenuous efforts to support the state in the face of the pandemic.

He underlined the importance of backing the painstaking efforts being exerted by doctors in all isolation hospitals in such extraordinary circumstances.

He added that the company has spearheaded several initiatives to support the health mechanism.
