CAIRO – 7 April 2020: Director of Weather Forecasting Department at the Egyptian Meteorological Authority Mahmoud Shaheen warned of a drop in temperature during the next 72 hours, calling on citizens not to wear light clothes.

Shaheen said that the active dust wind, witnessed in most governorates, including Greater Cairo, has ended.

However, he added that we are still in the midst of weather fluctuations, where the temperature could rise or decline at any time, besides there would be a big difference between the maximum and minimum temperatures that may reach 10 and 15 degrees Celsius.

Drivers are also warned of speeding during the early morning hours, as intense mist is expected. Shaheen also pointed that a chance for light rainfall exists by the end of this week.
