CAIRO - 27 March 2020: The Egyptian State has dealt with the coronavirus crisis with full courage, transparency and credibility, considering it a national security issue, deputy chairman of the Egyptian center for strategic studies Mohamed Ibrahim said.

In an interview with Al Ahram Al Arabi magazine, Ibrahim added that the State has been keen to take all preventive measures and decisions that preserve the value of people and combat the virus.

The official urged citizens to implement all instructions of the State in this regard as well as to have full confidence in the way it tackles the issue.

He also called on people to avoid spreading rumors circulated on social media websites since they just aim to cause a state of worry and instability in the country. (MENA)
