MUSCAT, March 26 (MENA) - The Egyptian embassy in Oman decided operating an exceptional flight in the wee hours of Saturday morning to bring stranded Egyptians back home.

The embassy on its Facebook page on Thursday said the Egypt government has suspended all flights in line with the World Health Organization's guidelines on preventing the spread of the coronavirus, but Egypt operates exceptional flights to bring stranded Egyptians back home or sending tourists to their homelands.

Only Egyptians who were on a visit to Oman and stuck there will be allowed to border the flights, the embassy said.

Those who will arrive on board of this flight will be quarantined for 14 days, it added.
