ISTANBUL, Turkey, March 26 (MENA) - The Egyptian Consulate in Istanbul announced that a database is urgently prepared for the Egyptians stranded in Turkey to consider the possibility of returning them home.

This comes as part of the efforts of the Egyptian authorities to support Egyptian nationals stranded because of Egypt’s decision of suspending flights due to a coronavirus pandemic, the consulate said on its social media websites.

The stranded Egyptians should be carrying Egyptian passports, should not be residents in Turkey, should pay the cost of returning them back home and should be ready for a 14-day quarantine after their return home.

The consulate urged those who want to return home to contact it on its Facebook page.
