Interior ministry denies reports on imposing curfew

CAIRO, March 23 (MENA) - The Interior Ministry denied reports on imposing a curfew as of Monday evening to combat the novel coronavirus.

The ministry's media center official said that legal action will be taken against the online pages, which carried such baseless news.

The official said that the ministry's only page on Facebook is www.facebook.com/moiegy.

He warned that such reports seek to create confusion in the Egyptian society.
