Egypt's cabinet launches website to spread awareness about coronavirus

CAIRO - 3 March 2020: Egypt's cabinet launched a website to spread awareness about coronavirus that emerged in the Chinese city of Wuhan last December, the Egyptian cabinet's media center said on Monday.

The website provides public information about the deadly virus, such as means of transmission, protective measures, and answers to the most frequent questions about the virus.


The Egyptian Government provided all the ministries and governmental institutions with awareness leaflets on ways to prevent infection with the coronavirus, while emphasizing that every minister and officials should take the necessary precautions to ensure the safety the employees.

The Egyptian Ministry of Health has previously announced the second detected coronavirus case,who is a foreign expert working for an oil company located 120 kilometers from the north-western governorate of Marsa Matrouh.
