CAIRO, March 2 (MENA) - Cairo University President Mohamed Osman el Khesht stressed that Egypt is ready to engage in cooperation protocols with Austrian universities in various scores.
He made the remarks during a meeting Monday with the presidents of three Austrian universities.
The meeting took place on the fringe of a visit by President of the Austrian National Council Wolfgang Sobotka accompanied by Higher Education Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar to Cairo University.
He suggested cooperating with Austrian universities in granting joint scientific degrees in the fields of agriculture, philosophy, engineering and economics and political science.
Meanwhile, the heads of Austrian universities hailed the talks held with Khesht.
They wished Cairo University would join an Austrian-African universities network.
The Austrian team was surprised of the large number of Cairo University students, inviting Khesht to visit their universities as soon as possible for more talks about bilateral cooperation.
