German development min. to start visit to Egypt on Friday

CAIRO - 6 February 2020: German Development Minister Gerd Müller will start a visit to Cairo on Friday to discuss water and energy issues in Egypt.

Müller will hold several meetings with Egyptian partners in Aswan and will visit a number of projects, according to a press release by the German embassy in Cairo on Thursday.

The minister stressed in the press statement that Egypt and Germany are working together in the field of development to improve people's living conditions and realize sustainable development goals.

German Ambassador to Egypt Cyrill Nunn said that Egypt is an important partner to German in the field of development.
