Sisi ratifies amendments to anti-exam cheating law

CAIRO - 18 June 2017: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi ratified Sunday some amendments to the anti-exam cheating law, after the House of Representatives passed them.

According to the new amendments, punishment for leaking the questions of exams or their answers by any means will range between two to seven years and fine between 100,000 pounds and 200,000 pounds.

Also, those who illegally have cell phones during the exams will be fined between 5,000 pounds and 10,000 pounds.
