CAIRO - 11 January 2020: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi declared a three-day mourning for the death of Oman's Sultan Qaboos bin Said , who died at the age of 79, said the Egyptian Presidency in a statement on Saturday.

President Sisi offered his condolences to the Omani people for the death of Sultan Qboos, praising his supportive role in the regional and Arab issues.

“Late Sultan Qaboos was a leader of the Sultanate renaissance. May his soul rest in eternal peace,” President Sisi said on his Twitter account.
