TRIPOLI, Dec 29 (MENA) - Libyan Parliament Spokesman Abdulla Belhiq Sunday warned that if Turkey were to opt for a military intervention, the Libyan army will take fierce action and consider such an intervention a 'new colonization of Libya'.

The Libyan army has frequently targeted Turkish-run operation rooms that control military drones and offer logistic support for the militants in the conflict-hit country.

During a meeting with Speaker of Cypriot Parliament Demetris Syllouris, Speaker of Libyan Parliament Aguila Saleh said that the parliament will plead with the European Union to withdraw support and recognition of the Government of National Accord.
