Heavy rain continues to batter Alexandria; navigation in ports unaffected

ALEXANDRIA, Egypt, Dec 25 (MENA) - Heavy rain continued to batter Alexandria and the North Coast for the second day running accompanied by a marked drop in temperature.

Roads appeared empty of people and traffic was slower than usual on Wednesday morning.

Navigation in Alexandria and Dekheila ports was reportedly unaffected by the adverse weather.

Shipping movement is going on normally, Spokesman for Alexandria Port Authority said.
