Unstable weather hits Egypt until Friday

CAIRO – 24 December 2019: Egypt’s official forecast authority expected an unstable weather of low temperature and thunder rains to hit the country as of Tuesday, and to last until Friday.

Rainfall is expected to increase on the northern coasts, Lower Egypt, North Sinai, Canal cities and some parts of northern Upper Egypt.

The authority said that the drop in temperature will be accompanied by speed wind especially on desert roads, and open-air areas, which would affect clear visibility.

Cairo will record highs of 18°C and lows of 13°C, while Alexandria will record highs of 18 and lows of 12. Sohag will record highs of 20°C and lows of 7°C, Qena will record highs of 21°C and lows of 8°C, and Aswan will record 23°C and lows of 8°C.
