SHARM EL SHEIKH, Egypt, Dec 14 (MENA) - The World Youth Forum (WYF) is an international platform that seeks bringing youth of different nationalities closer, said Union for the Mediterranean Secretary General Ambassador Nasser Kamel on Saturday.

The General Secretariat of the union appreciates the major importance Egypt attaches to the youth, their issues and priorities, Kamel said in statements to MENA, adding that the forum is a chance to bring together different civilizations and having dialogue among cultures.

He added that the General Secretariat was keen on taking part in the organization of the Model Union for the Mediterranean, which will be held on the sidelines of the WYF to shed light on a set of topics prioritized by the Euro-Mediterranean region like the climate change, employment and entrepreneurship.
