KUWAIT CITY, Nov 20 (MENA) - Egypt's Ambassador to Kuwait Tarek el Koni asserted that the participation of 63 publishing houses in the 44th Kuwait International Book Fair is reflecting the strong ties the two countries.

On the sideline of the inauguration, Koni said there is a variety of the Egyptian pavilions which includes private publishing houses, governmental bodies, the Egyptian General Authority for Books as well as the National Center for Translation and Publishing, which are the best ambassadors for the Egyptian culture abroad.

The ambassador was keen on inspecting the various pavilions of the Egyptian section and meetings with officials to get briefed on their activities in the fair, praising the efforts of the Kuwaiti National Council for Culture, Art and Literature in organizing the current edition of the fair.

He said the current edition of the fair will involve the participation of various Egyptian cultural and literature icons.
