CAIRO – 16 June 2017: Egypt Today interviewed Emirati presenter Tarek El Zar’ouny, who worked for Al Jazeera. Zar’ouny revealed hidden facts about the work mechanisms and media personnel of the state-funded Qatari news channel that directed the channel to promote terrorist and anarchist ideas among Arab peoples.

Zar’ouny said Thursday that Al Jazeera adopted the agendas of foreign intelligence bodies such as the U.S.’ Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Israel’s Mossad and the Iranian intelligence body affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corp (IRGC).

The channel has been promoting the ideologies of terrorist groups for years for the purpose of destroying Arab countries which has become evident since 2010 along the eruption of Arab Spring civil wars.

Zar’ouny said such practices matched the calls for destructive revolutions propagated by former United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

The former Al-Jazeera presenter added that the channel’s editorial board used to frame news within a destructive and polarizing framework.

He added that topics tackled in the channels’ programs are forced by an unknown authority on the channels’ employees who are not allowed to discuss anything related to the editorial policy.

Zar’ouny claimed at the end of the interview that Al Jazeera presenters Faisal El Kassem and Ahmed Mansour are “agents for Israel,” and that the channel organizes training sessions for its producers and presenters on the Israeli territories.
