CAIRO, Nov 17 (MENA) - The Ministry of Trade and Industry affiliate Chemical Administration signed a cooperation protocol with the 10th of Ramadan Investor Association to benefit from services offered by the administration in the sphere of food safety conformity assessment.

The protocol aims at enabling the firms affiliated with the Chamber of Food Industries to leverage services offered by the Chemical Administration in Cairo and its branches nationwide to enhance the productive ability of the food entities and improve the production quality in accordance with international standards, said Head of Administration Magdy Fahmy in a statement issued by the Ministry of Trade on Sunday.

Under the protocol, firms affiliated with the Chamber of Food Industries will get 50 percent discount on conformity assessment and technical consultancy services, Fahmy added.
