CAIRO, Oct 12 (MENA) - Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi discussed Saturday the latest developments of the Turkish offensive into Syria.

They tackled the consequences of such a serious move on the Syrian unity and the path of the country's political process, in line with UN Security Council resolution no. 2254.

According to Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Hafez, the meeting took up ways of maintaining Syria's sovereignty, unity of its people and lands.
