Libyan army controls air space, besieges GNA troops in Tripoli suburbs

TRIPOLI - 5 October 2019: The Libyan National Army has declared full control of the air space and its besiege of the Government of National Accord troops in Tripoli suburbs.

The army, led by Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, is taking the lead in its battle against the GNA troops and is in full control of the air space through its continued raids on their outposts in the capital suburbs, Spokesman for the National Army Operations Room Khaled el Mahjoub said in statements quoted by Al Hurra News on Saturday.

The army continues to besiege the elements and force them out of the capital Tripoli with the aim of targeting them and dealing with them outside, he added.
