Iraq rejects Israeli participation in int'l force guarding Arab Gulf

BAGHDAD, Sept 17 (MENA) - Iraq said on Tuesday that it will not join any international force guarding navigation in the Arab Gulf if Israel would participate in this force.

Iraqi Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Al Sahhaf told Russia Today channel that Iraq has already explained its viewpoint regarding the security in the Arab Gulf confirming that navigation security in the Gulf is the responsibility of the countries overlooking the waterway.
