CAIRO - 16 September 2019: The Naval Forces rescued on Monday, Sept. 16 a yacht carrying 38 people, including 26 tourists and the 12-member crew of the yacht.

According to the statement of the General Command of the Armed Forces, a number of naval units in charge of securing the water surface of the Red Sea Naval Base were directed to rescue the yacht crew and tourists on board and provide rescue assistance after the yacht had suffered technical breakdown.

The statement added that the yacht passengers were evacuated and provided medical and administrative assistance upon the arrival at the Red Sea Naval Base.
