CAIRO, Sept 14 (MENA) - Assistant Foreign Minister for Multilateral Affairs and International Security Ambassador Ihab Fawzy said Egypt will host the second international forum on migration data and statistics next January.

Speaking at the opening of the 5th African forum on migration, which kicked off here on Saturday, Fawzy said the forum attaches special importance as it is held after adopting an international document on safe and regular immigration.

He pointed out that the document mainly aims to emphasize the need to improve and develop investment to analyze and spread accurate data.

Fawzy hoped that the gathering would be an important step to ensure safe, organized and regular immigration throughout the African continent.
