CAIRO - 10 September 2019: Chairman of the Administrative Capital for Urban Development Company Ahmed Zaki Abdeen told Egypt Today that the finishing works of buildings in the Government District will be completed in December as a number of public employees will fully relocate next June.

In parallel, utilities have been introduced in the district by 90 percent. Currently, the water is supplied by a temporary line to serve the construction works taking place, the official stated.

Abdeen added that public employees will move to the New Administrative Capital over batches so that all ministries will be relocated by June 2020. The means of transportation to be available for employees are a high-speed rail, and a tram extending from Cairo International Stadium until the Government District in NAC.

The official stated that the water supply and sewage networks of the district are completed, and that once the roads and telecommunication networks are finished, NAC will be ready to receive the public employees.
