Defense min.: Armed Forces always deserve people's confidence

CAIRO - 8 September 2019: Defense Minister Mohamed Zaki underlined that the Armed Forces will always deserve the confidence which the Egyptian people granted to them due to their honesty and bravery.

He made the remarks during a ceremony held on Sunday to honor a number of military top brass who retired in July 2019.

He conveyed President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi's greetings to the Armed Forces veterans who have patriotically and honorably served their nation.

Zaki bestowed the Second Class Republic Order on the retired military men in appreciation of their national role during their tour of duty.

Chief of Staff Mohamed Farid attended the ceremony alongside a number of military commanders.
