Unidentified gunman opens fire on empty bus in Jordan's Petra city

AMMAN, Aug 24 (MENA) - An unidentified gunman opened fire on an empty bus in Petra city, Jordanian police spokesman Amer al Sartawi said on Saturday.

An investigation has been launched into the incident, he added.

A security source said "the bus, which belongs to Petra local authorities, sustained material damage but there were no injuries,” Al Arabiya news channel reported.
