CAIRO, July 30 (MENA) - Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli on Tuesday said the government will continue to support social protection programs and the subsidy system, while establishing an accurate and sound database to determine the real beneficiaries.

He was speaking at the second session of the simulation model of the Egyptian state at the seventh National Youth Conference that kicked off here today at the New Administrative Capital.

This session focused on the issues of social protection, terrorism, security challenges, and regional unrest.

The premier added that the rationalization of oil products helps the government expand in the provision of further health care and education services.

For her part, Social Solidarity Minister Ghada Wali said around 1,000 new families will be added to the Takaful and Karama program with the beginning of the new fiscal year.

She went on to say that her ministry had set up a database that included 7 million households, with a view to supporting the families eligible for benefiting from social protection programs.

With regard to the growing risk of terrorism, a documentary on the state's efforts to fight terrorism and achieve stability was displayed.
