CAIRO, July 20 (MENA) – Minister of Interior Mahmoud Tawfiq said on Saturday the ministry has been keen to use the state-of-the-art mechanisms and technologies to establish a developed security system.

Delivering a speech at the graduation ceremony of a new batch of the Police Academy, Tawfiq added that today’s event that included a display of several skills and training capabilities by the cadets reflects the Ministry of Interior’s awareness that education and training are the way to upgrading performance, improving capabilities and confronting challenges.

The ceremony was attended by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, who honored top cadets of the Police Academy graduates.

The interior minister urged benefiting from the State's support to the police to continue finalizing programs that aim to enhance all security fields.

Tawfiq said police forces continue working day and night and make all sacrifices to confront externally-supported attempts to undermine Egypt’s stability.

Meanwhile, the minister expressed thanks to the Armed Forces, who he said continue making efforts and sacrifices to defend and build the country.

He also paid tribute to the fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives so that Egypt could achieve security and stability.
