Madbouli delivers AFCON trophy to Algeria's captain

CAIRO, July 19 (MENA) - Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli on Friday delivered the trophy of the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) to Algeria's captain Riyad Mahrez.

Algerian Interim President Abdul Qader bin Saleh, FIFA President Gianni Infantino, CAF chief Ahmad Ahmad and Egyptian Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhi were in attendance.

Algeria beat Senegal 1-0 in the AFCON 2019 final played at the Cairo International Stadium Friday to add the second continental title in their football history.
