CAIRO, July 14 (MENA) – President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has underscored that the positive indicators of Egypt’s economic performance have been achieved thanks to Egyptian people’s support, awareness and patience.

Sisi on Sunday met with members of the ministerial economic committee.

The committee submitted a report to the president on the indicators of economic performance in 2018/2019, noting that Egypt achieved the world’s third largest economic growth rate at 5.6%, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.

The report pointed out that the annual inflation rate went down from 13.8% in June 2018 to 8.9% in the same period this year.
