Sisi extends condolences to Sharjah ruler after his son's death

CAIRO - 3 July 2019: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi offered his heart-felt condolences, in a phone call, to Sharjah Ruler Sultan bin Muhammad al Qasimi for the death of his son Sheikh Khalid al Qasimi.

Sharjah ruler thanked Sisi, underlining the strength of ties between Egypt and the UAE, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi said.

Khalid al Qasimi died in London on Monday. He was 39. UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed ordered three days of national official mourning after receiving the sorrowful news of his death.
