BERLIN, June 26 (MENA) - Peter Ramsauer, the president of German-Arab Chamber Of Industry & Commerce, former transport minister and Bundestag member, described Egyptian-German economic relations as distinguished.

Ramsauer's speech came Tuesday on the sidelines of the Arab-German economic forum, Ramsauer that Egypt, the current president of the African Union, is an important strategic partner for communications with Africa.

Egypt was chosen as this year's guest of honor at the forum.

"We have an annual tradition of selecting Arab country as a partner at the economic forum, and this year we are happy to have Egypt as the guest of honor," Ramsauer said.

He welcomed the the participation of Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and six Egyptian ministers in the forum, saying that Egypt has made many economic achievements and achieved stability at the various levels.

He said is sure that Germany will pump more investments into Egypt and sign with Cairo a number of cooperation agreements following the forum.

He pointed out that the economic stability encourages German investors to seize the promising opportunities of investment in Egypt.
