CAIRO, June 25 (MENA) - The Arab Water Ministerial Council will hold a meeting at the Arab League prmises here on Wednesday to discuss an Arab water security strategy.

The meeting will be chaired by Iraq with the membership of Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Qatar, Jordan, Sudan and the Comoros.

It will discuss means of implementing an action plan of the Arab water security strategy in the face of current challenges along with a regional initiative for coordination among the sectors of energy, water and food in the Arab countries, said Gamal Gaballah an Arab League official.

Also, the participants will discuss Israel's stealing of Arab water in the occupied Golan Heights, southern Lebanon and the occupied Palestinian territories, he added.
