CAIRO - 21 June 2019: Deputy Foreign Minister for African affairs Hamdi Sanad discussed Thursday with Ghana’s Foreign Minister Shirley Ayorkor Botchway means of boosting bilateral ties in various fields.

Botchway is expected to attend the opening ceremony of 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Sanad and Botchway reviewed the latest developments in Africa, especially the continent free trade agreement, which took into effect recently.

Their talks also touched on the political, economic, and security challenges that face Africa.

Finally, they agreed on holding a meeting for the joint committee of Cairo and Accra in November
