Temperature rises in Cairo Monday, records 35°C

CAIRO - 9 June 2019: Cairo is expected to see a hotter weather on Monday, with the temperature increasing by 2 degrees, recording highs of 35°C, according to weather experts.

Meteorological experts said that a relatively hot weather will be witnessed in Cairo and Lower Egypt on Sunday, with Cairo recording 33°C. While higher temperature degrees will be recorded in northern to southern Upper Egypt, where the weather is commonly hot.

Some areas in the northern coasts are expected to see rains, while South Sinai to witness active moderate wind.


Temperatures on Monday are expected to be as follows:

Cairo: 35°C - 23°C
Alexandria: 28°C - 21°C
Mersa Matruh: 28°C - 21°C
Sohag: 37°C - 24°C
Qena: 38°C – 25°C
Aswan: 39°C – 28°C
