Sisi underlines importance of empowering women, honing youths skills

BEIJING - 26 May 2019: Egyptian Ambassador to China Osama el Magdoub said he conveyed a message from President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi - the current chair of the African Union - to participants in the Africa Day celebration in Beijing.

In the message, President Sisi underlined the importance of honing youth skills to be qualified to lead the future of Africa, Magdoub said.

He also highlighted the importance of promoting the African women's role.

EgyptAir sponsored the celebration and offered free tickets from Beijing to Cairo to the attendees.

A film promoting for the company was screened during the celebration.

EgyptAir sponsors the African Cup of Nations championship which is due to be held in Egypt from June 21 to July 19.
