CAIRO, May 20 (MENA) - The Arab League has circulated a call from Saudi King Salman bin Abdel-Aziz for holding an extraordinary summit to the member states, said an official source at the pan-Arab body.

The step comes under Article 3 of an appendix related to holding such a summit upon a call from a member state, said the source.

The Saudi-requested summit will be held in Jeddah on May 30 to probe attacks on ships sailing in the Gulf off the UAE and drone attacks by Houthi rebels on two oil pumping stations in Saudi Arabia.
