Egypt has never seen leader like Sisi: Pope Tawadros

ALTENA, Germany, May 18 (MENA) - Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese on Saturday hailed President Abdel Fattah El Sisi as honest man.

"Throughout its history, Egypt has never seen a leader like him," the Pope added in a meeting with a raft of Coptic expatriates in Germany's Altena.

The Church is making great efforts in Asia, Africa and Europe, the pontiff said.

Discussions are made with other churches to install the Easter on the third Sunday of April, the Pope also said.

Changing dates has nothing to do with the doctrine, he added.

Pope Tawadros II is currently a pastoral journey to Germany.
