CAIRO – 7 June 2017: Bahraini Foreign Minister Khaled bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa held a closed meeting with the ambassadors of Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE on Wednesday to reaffirm their situation on the boycott with Qatar in the face of its support for terrorism, according to Akhbar Al-Khaleej news.

The meeting comes ahead of an upcoming summit in Cairo on Thursday between President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi and King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa.

The Bahraini foreign minister expressed his deep gratitude for the principled and firm position of those brotherly countries who stand in solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The three ambassadors expressed their pride in the brotherly and historical relationships between the Kingdom of Bahrain and their countries. They also stressed the importance of Arab solidarity to overcome the challenges and risks facing the Arab countries.
