CAIRO - 22 April 2019: Prime Minister MoustafaMadbouli called Monday for coordination and integration among Arab bourses in light of the pivotal role played by exchanges and money markets in world economy.

This came during his meeting with members of the Arab Federation of Exchanges (AFE) in the presence of Chief Executive Officer of the World Federation of Exchanges Nandini Sukumar and senior Egyptian officials including Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait.

According to Cabinet spokesman Nader Saad,the meeting reflects Madbouli's keenness on getting together with Arab bourses' heads during their presence in Cairo to attend meetings of the AFE andboost Arab development efforts.

Head of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) Mohamed Farid Saleh said the coming period will witness more efforts to ease measures for companies seeking to join Arab bourses with the aim of serving economic development efforts in the Arab region.

Following the meeting, the prime minister will also meet with the Economic Group to follow up on a number of economic files on which the government is working. He will also meet with the president of the House of Representatives of Cyprus, in the presence of Minister of the House of Representatives Omar Marwan.
