CAIRO, April 7 (MENA) - Transport Minister Kamel el Wazir hailed on Sunday a deal with Transmashholding to deliver 1,300 carriages.

"It's the largest deal in the history of the Egyptian Railways," Wazir told Ambassador of Hungary in Cairo Peter Kveck, whose country is a partner in a consortium with Transmashholding in the deal.

The deal, worth EGP 22 billion, will achieve a quantum leap in the sector, said the minister.

The ambassador, for his part, hailed his country's firm relations with his Egypt.
