CAIRO - 27 March 2019: The ACC3 validation granted by the European Union (EU) to EgyptAir Cargo was renewed on Wednesday for five years after running an auditing for security measures pertinent to cargo handling.

ACC3 stands for “Air Cargo or Mail Carrier operating into the (European) Union from a Third Country Airport,” according to the International Air Transport Association (IATA) website.

EgyptAir Cargo is designated as an RA3 which means “a cargo handling entity located in a third country that is validated and approved as such on the basis of an EU Aviation Security validation” as defined by Air Cargo World.

The committee in charge audited cargo complexes in Cairo, Alexandria, and Luxor.
