CAIRO - 20 March 2019: Police killed Mahmoud S., 36, in a fire exchange, after he shot seven people in Giza's Awsim, killing four of them and injuring the others, according to security reports. The death toll then reportedly rose to five.

While exchanging fire with the armed citizen, known to be a drug abuser, two policemen, including an officer, were also injured.

Police reports found that Mahmoud had a fight with his wife before he came out to randomly shoot a number of citizens who were present at the scene, using an automatic weapon.
