CAIRO, Feb 27 (MENA) - The Egyptian Foreign Ministry underlined rejection of attempts to marginalize the Palestinian Cause, stressing continued support for the Palestinians to claw their legitimate rights back.

Khaled Radi, the head of the Palestinian directorate at the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, made the remarks on Wednesday during the inauguration of an annual meeting of the board of trustees of the Yasser Arafat Foundation.

Radi underscored the key role played by the foundation in entrenching the Palestinian identity among Palestinian children and supporting women and youths' projects.

The Palestinians seek to obtain their legitimate rights, topped by establishing an independent Palestinian state, he said, citing the huge challenges facing the Palestinian cause.

He said Egypt has always been keen on accentuating that comprehensive and just peace is the only way to realize peace and development.

He stressed that Egypt will spare no effort to unify the Palestinians to get back their usurped rights, lauding Arab efforts to support the financially-strapped UNRWA.
