In statements to MENA on Friday, Labarang added that the achievements made in Egypt indicate President Sisi’s interest in development, not only in his country but across Africa as well.

This proves that Sisi’s chairmanship of the African Union in 2019 will be important for the entire Africa, the ambassador told MENA on the sidelines of his participation in a ceremony marking solar illumination of the face of Ramses II statue at Abu Simbel temple in Aswan.
